Anthony Cooper-Jenkins awakened in this vast land of unexercised potential on March 7, 1982. Growing up, he was always engaged in life, whether it was through church, music, sports, local organizations, or of course, art. His mind was always racing, always daring him to step out on a limb and try something different...always inticing him to ignite the flame of creative expression that was held captive somewhere within...always pursuing a deeper level of growth than what most deemed as the norm. Drawing/painting became his therapy, his shelter from the thunderstorms and torrential rains of what we all know as life. Many were unaware of his talent, his God-given gift as some would proclaim. His art was something that he often kept to himself, or only shared with those close to him, ie. his mother. It was one angel (Ms. Helen Gil; Escuela Campo Alegre; Caracas, Venezuela) that was strategically placed in his  life that gave him the confidence, and set aflame the intent to allow his talent to consume him. Though still very reluctant, shy, and sensitive about sharing his work, he still takes advantage of opportunities to unveal this very often secluded part of his being..........Thank you for visiting and I hope you have enjoyed the small collection that I have chosen to display!
