Music Page: The Jim Stewart Jazz Trio

The Jim Stewart Jazz Trio features Jim Stewart on Guitar, Phil Ravita on Bass, and Ted Naperkoski on Drums.  The group specializes in jazz and Latin standards as well as original music in those genre composed by members of the group.   The group also performs seasonal music as well as classical music for receptions.  This group of professional musicians have worked in the Baltimore area for the past 20 years.  Some of the accomplishments of the  members of this group  include, membership in the Baltimore and New York Musician's Unions, honorable mention in the Billboard Song Writing Contest (2005), performance of an original piece at the first annual Jazz Composer's Showcase, performances at Artscape and other local festivals,  and Production and release of 2 CD's of thier original music.  The group performs at copporate functions, private parties, and public venues.  The gtoup can be reached at 410.628.1367 or at WWW.JIMSTEWARTJAZZTRIO.COM
